DODGE CITY – Alice "Mae" Barnett, 99, died Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Presbyterian Manor of the Plains.

She was born November 9, 1918, in Isom Springs, Oklahoma, the daughter of Roy and Annie (Subblefield) Lindsey.  A resident of Dodge City for 20 years moving from Minco, Oklahoma. She was a director for low income housing for Minco, Oklahoma.

She was a member of Abundant Life Family Church.

Mae enjoyed playing cards, bingo, crocheting stocking hats for kids, and loved spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Survivors include: son, Ben Shaw and wife Jill of Yukon, Oklahoma; 2 daughters, Ann Kendrick, Dodge City, Kansas and Sue Cunningham, Dodge City; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, LeRoy Shaw, two husbands, Robert "Red" Omar Shaw and Earl Barnett, grandson Darryl Shaw, and son in law, Alan Cunningham.

A private family service will be at a later date. There will be no public viewing as cremation has taken place.
