Angela
Rodriguez
Jul 10, 1964 — Dec 14, 2023
DODGE CITY - Angela Christine Rodriguez, affectionately known as Angie, passed away at the age of 59 on December 14, 2023, due to injuries sustained in a tragic accident while en route to her devoted role as a Registered Nurse at Fresenius Kidney Care.
Born in Omaha, Nebraska on July 10, 1964, to Tony Bera and Linda Myszkowski, she shared her life with her beloved husband, Robert "Bob" Rodriguez, and cherished siblings: Cheryl, Renne, Priscilla, Vicki, Tony, and Mathew.
Angie's essence can be best encapsulated by a handful of qualities that her family and friends hold dear: caring, loving, humorous, and vivacious. While she poured her heart into her long-standing career, her greatest pride and joy were her children, and later, their children and families. Survived by her three children; Robert, Anthony (and wife Charree), and Linda. Angie was adored by an astounding 15 grandchildren, to whom she was "Nana"
Beyond her devotion to family, Angie harbored a deep affection for her furry companions, treating them as family with a penchant for asserting that some behaved better than others. Her love for nature led her to find solace in gardens and zoos and caring for her own house plants, she cherished weekends watching the Huskers play during College Saturdays, and traveling near and far to try new foods and restaurants.
Angie dedicated her life to serving others, displaying unwavering devotion to those she cherished. Her passing leaves a void far too soon, but even in death, she continues to give through her selfless act of being an organ and tissue donor.
She is preceded in death by her mother and grandparents, Tina Rodriguez, Virgina Espinosa, and Roman Myszkowski.
A Memorial Service honoring Angie's life will take place on Thursday, December 28th, 2023, at 10:00 am at the Church of the Nazarene in Dodge City, officiated by Jeff Hiers. Cremation has already taken place, thus no public visitation. Friends and family are invited to sign the register book on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City. Angie will be dearly missed and forever remembered for her boundless love, compassion, and vibrant spirit that touched the lives of all who knew her.
The family suggests memorials can be made to the Omaha Children's Hospital, in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N 14th Ave., Dodge City KS 67801.
