DODGE CITY – Barbara E. Grantham, 80, died Friday, August 30, 2024 at St. Catherine's of Dodge City.

She was born March 22, 1944 in Dodge City, the daughter of Lawrence and Regina "Maude" (Stegman) Israel.  She was a lifetime area resident and a homemaker.

She was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Dodge City and was an avid antique collector.

On December 17, 1960 she married Larry Grantham at Dodge City.  He preceded her in death on August 9, 2015.

Survivors include: her son, Kevin Grantham and wife Cindy, Martinez, California; 2 granddaughters, Hollie Grantham and Elizabeth Grantham; her companion, Earl Quint, Dodge City; 4 sisters, Shirley Schmidt, Spearville, Lauray Edwards, Dodge City, Mary Kay Urban and husband Terry, Topeka and Judy Hilker and husband Dave, Cimarron.

Se was also preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters, Carol Gaddert and Virginia Downing.

Rosary followed by funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Monday, November 11, 2024 both at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 901 Central Ave., Dodge City. Private family burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City.  There will be no public visitation, cremation has taken place.
