DODGE CITY – Charles Allen Clanton, Jr., 66, died Friday, May 6, 2022 at his aunt's home in Dodge City, Kansas.

He was born on April 17, 1956 the son of Charles Sr., and Barbara (Taylor) Clanton.

He lived his childhood in Kansas, and most of his adult life in Idaho.

He retired as a bartender/manager in Lewiston, Idaho. He was a former Marine and member of the Combat Vets Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed playing darts, riding his Harley, playing pool, fishing, camping and loved spending time with his family and his brotherhood of friends.

On October 27, 2016 at Lewiston, Idaho he married Denise Faulkner. She survives.

Survivors also include: a son, Michael Clanton, Scotland; 1 sister, Anita Clanton, Coeur d' Alene; 2 nephews, 2 great nieces, 3 aunts; and numerous cousins and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private family services will be held at a later date. There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place.
