EL DORADO, KANSAS – Clinton T. Torres, 27 died Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at his home in El Dorado.

He was born on January 30, 1997 at Dodge City, Kansas the son of Salvador Torres and Rita Torrecillas. Clinton was a resident of Dodge City until moving to El Dorado 4 years ago. He loved animals and to be outside taking everything in he saw. He enjoyed watching sports on tv with the staff especially baseball with Chuck. His dad enjoyed fishing with him also. He was known to the staff as "the ladies' man" and loved to give and receive hugs. Clinton enjoyed being out in the community to see everything around him. Every night before he went to bed the staff had to turn on Bob's Burgers or he would let them know they forgot. He will be dearly missed by the staff at the Capper Foundation.

Survivors include: his father, Salvador Torres, Dodge City and mother, Rita Torecillas; and 3 brothers, Salvador Torres Jr., Kennedy Torres and Lincoln Torres all of Dodge City.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Vigil service will be at 7:00 pm Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dodge City.  Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Thursday at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe with Fr. Wesley Schawe presiding. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City.
