DODGE CITY – Daniel Michael Lane, 64, died March 11, 2023 at his home in Monument, Colorado.

He was born August 17, 1958 in Dodge City to Chad W., Sr. and Roberta Jean (Renfro) Lane.  He was a talented artisan specializing in interior and exterior tile installation.

He married AnnMarie O'Hearn in 1997.  They later divorced.  To them were born Wyatt Thomas and Rio Marie Lane.  They survive.

He is also survived by his siblings, Chad W. Lane, Jr., Joseph Lane and wife Allison, Travis Lane and wife Karen and Laura Ann DeMello and husband Justin; his step-mother, Carolyn L. Lane; a sister-in-law, Edith "Edie" Lane; and several nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Deborah Budden, a brother, Steven Lane, his grandparents, an aunt and several cousins.

Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Peter Catholic Church in Monument on March 29, 2023 with Fr. Gregory Golyzniak presiding and assisted by Dan's cousin, Deacon Scotty Bowen. Inurnment will be at a later date in Greencrest Memorial Gardens, Dodge City.

The family suggests memorials to St. Peter Catholic Church or the donor's choice in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14 ^th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas, 67801.
