Delores Arcadia Herbert's Obituary
DODGE CITY – Dolores Arcadia Herbert, 102, died Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Manor of the Plains, Dodge City.
She was born January 12, 1916 at Ottawa, Kansas, the daughter of Adolph and Maria (Godines) Soriano.
On December 28, 1937 she Married Wesley B. Herbert at Paola, Kansas. He preceded her in death.
Dolores enjoyed travelling and spending time with all her grandchildren.
Survivors include: 2 sons, Gary Herbert and wife Naomi, Pretty Prairie, Kansas and Alan Herbert, Kinsley, Kansas; daughter, Pat Rogers and husband Don, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sister, Sara Gobea, Ottawa, Kansas; 13 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, sister Jenny, 4 brothers, Jimmy, Fred, Bill and Percy.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday January 31, 2018 at Ziegler Funeral Chapel with Richard Crockett officiating. Book signing will be Tuesday January 30, 2018 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Ziegler Funeral Chapel. The casket will remain closed.
The family suggests memorials to Manor of the Plains in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801. Condolences may be sent to www.zieglerfuneralchapel.com
