OFFERLE – Dolores M. Jones, 87, passed away Monday, May 5, 2025 at the Kansas Soldiers Home, Fort Dodge.

She was born November 2, 1937 in Dodge City, Kansas, the daughter of Joseph, Jr. and Eugena (Kahler) Rosproy. She was a graduate of Offerle High School and a lifetime area resident.

On July 21, 1956 she married Doyle Jones at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Offerle. Dolores spent her life helping run the family farm and enjoyed arts and crafts.

Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle of 67 years, her parents, her sister Wilma, and her twin sister Dorothy.

Dolores is survived by her children, Jeff Jones, Kinsley and Jessie (Steve) Heinz, Lecompton, Kansas; Grandchildren, Clayton (Kara) Jones, Whitney Jones (Gera), Jared Jones, Katie Heinz, Trish (Mike) Warford, and 10 great grandchildren.

Rosary will be at 10:30 am Monday, May 12, 2025 followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am both at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Offerle, with Fr. Tim Hickey presiding.  Private family burial will take place at a later date.  There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place.
