DODGE CITY – Donna "Kay" Collins, 78 died Friday, September 6, 2024 at St. Catherine Hospital in Dodge City.

She was born on February 4, 1946 at Jayton, Texas the daughter of Oscar Vern and Myrtle Edna (Owens) Healer.

She had worked various jobs but her favorite job was at a Senior Citizen Apartment Complex as the property manager in Amarillo, Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jayton, Texas. Kay loved collecting antiques and drawing descriptions, where she bought them and how much they cost. She enjoyed going to garage sales, reading the Bible, and doing crossword puzzles. Kay loved her family and enjoyed keeping up with everyone on Facebook.

Survivors include: her 3 children, Kimberly Heckler and husband Kevin, Kemp, Texas, Sheryll Clark and wife Debbie, Chatham, Illinois and Troy Clark and wife Diane, Dodge City; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

There will be a private family service at a later date. There will be no public viewing as cremation has taken place.
