Obituary

NASHVILLE, TN - Dustin L. Blankman, age 53, passed away November 25, 2024 at Alive Hospice Care in Nashville, TN.  During Dustin's final days he was comforted by many of his Nashville area friends who shared their musical talents with him.

In Nashville he was the co-owner of The Broken Spoke, a famous Nashville honky-tonk bar, where he was known for supporting struggling artists by offering them a stage. His love for music and the performers who shared their talents was well-known.

Throughout his many adventures Dustin was most proud of being a BBQ pitmaster and having an excellent reputation for his popular smoked ribs and perfecting his own BBQ sauce.

He was a proud member of the Dodge City High School Red Demon football team, an avid fan of K-State football, the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals.
