DODGE CITY – Eliseo Arambula Sosa passed away at the age of 55, on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at his home in Dodge City.

Eliseo's life journey began on June 23, 1968, in Cd. Juarez, Mexico to Doroteo Arambula and Felipa Sosa.  He grew up in Dodge City and was a graduate of Dodge City High School.  In 1986 he joined the Army and served honorably during Desert Storm.  He worked as a dental laboratory technician.  His life was filled with many adventures, including difficult times that he faced with optimism and laughter. He cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.  He flies free today and forever.

He is survived by his wife Alma Rocio Mar Diaz, including his two children and one step-son, Diego Armando Holguin Mar, Matias Francisco Arambula Mar, Nadia Alisa Arambula Mar; his father and step-mother, Doroteo and Maria Arambula, Dodge City and his loving aunts and uncles who all held a special place in his life; 6 siblings; Juan Morales, Houston, Texas, Connie Arambula (Ari Gutierrez Arambula), Alhambra, California, Esperanza Arambula, Garden City, Alfredo Navarro, Las Vegas, Nevada, Manuel Arambula, Protection and Robert Arambula (Kimberly Maria Bridle), Dodge City; and numerous cousins,  nephews, nieces and great-nieces and nephews. Also included are his very close friends that were like family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Felipa.

Funeral and burial will be at 11:00 am Monday, July 1, 2024 at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery, Ft. Dodge, with Pastor Carlos Estrada officiating and full military honors by KSARNG and Southwest Kansas Veterans Funeral Honor Guard.  Visitation will be Sunday, June 30, 2024 from noon to 4:00 pm at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City.
