DODGE CITY – Elvia Fabela de Triana, 57 died Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at her home in Dodge City

She was born on March 25, 1968 at Juan Aldama, Zacatecas, Mexico the daughter of Herminio Fabela and Leonila Solis.

Elvia enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was an excellent seamstress and could make any type of clothing. Elvia raised children that weren't hers and loved them like family. At any opportunity she would always make sure to share the good news of the Bible. Whenever she became stressed, she enjoyed cleaning and organizing her home or taking long walks.

Survivors include: her husband, Miguel Triana, Dodge City; her mother, Leonila Solis, Piedras Negras, Coah., Mexico; 2 sons, Miguel Angel Triana and wife Anai Triana-Razo, Dodge City and Ulysses Triana and wife Gabriela Triana-Guerrero, Conway Springs, Kansas; 5 sisters, Socoro, Lourdes, Graciela, Rosario and Josefina Fabela; 7 brothers, Guillermo, Antonio, Francisco, Isaias, Samuel, Abel and Bruno Fabela; and 4 grandchildren, Laylani, Sofia, Alia and David Triana.

She was preceded in death by her father, 2 sisters, Ana and Isabel Fabela.

Funeral Service will be Friday, May 30, 2025 at 3:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Dodge City with Elder Jose Granados officiating. There will be no burial, cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be Thursday from noon to 7:00 pm at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City.
