FORD, KANSAS – Etta Bebee, 81, died Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.

She was born October 14, 1943 at Newton, Kansas, the daughter of Delbert and Margaret L. (House) Bebee.  A Ford resident for the past 30 years, moving from Colorado, she was a cook and the Kansas Soldiers Home at Ft. Dodge for 25 years until retiring.  She enjoyed reading and traveling.

In 1961 she married Howard Bazil at Newton.  He preceded her in death on July 15, 2008.

Survivors include: 4 children, Tammy Bazil, Fort Smith, Arkansas, Bruce Bazil, Ford, Sherri Burge and husband Tim, Lakewood, Colorado and David Brazil, Ford; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and 6 siblings.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City, with David Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ford Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City.
