KINSLEY – Judith Audrey Kirkbride, 84 died Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospital, Wichita, Kansas.

She was born August 18, 1940 the daughter of Loranzo and Mary Ragsdale Cooper. She was a member of the First Christan Church, Kinsley, Kansas.

On July 3, 1964 she Married Melvin Kirkbride at Hutchinson, Kansas. He preceded her in death on March 29, 2004.

Judith worked for Larned State Hospital as a dietary aide and retired October 1, 2005.

Survivors include: a grandson, Jacob Castaneda; many nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Kathy Kirkbride.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Melissa Butler, brother, Raymond Cooper and sister, Florence Munn.

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 10:00am at the Hillside Cemetery, Kinsley with Dr. Galen Boehme officiating. There will be no public viewing as cremation has taken place.

The family suggests memorials to the First Christian Church (Kinsley) in care of the Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
