DODGE CITY - Mariyah "M.J." Reyes, 18, died Friday, February 16, 2018
at Via Christi, St. Francis, Wichita.

She was born October 15, 1999 at Dodge City, the daughter of Marc Reyes
and Tracy Gutierrez. She was a Senior at Dodge City High School where
she played soccer, wrestled and was in band. She also loved animals.

She was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dodge City.

Survivors include: her parents, Dodge City; her sister, Aaliyah Reyes,
Dodge City; 3 brothers, Roman Reyes and Brady Reyes both of Dodge City;
Marc Anthony Reyes, Stationed in Guam; her grandparents, Carolyn and
Jessie Gutierrez and Juan J. Reyes and Santa Flores all of Dodge
City. Also several aunts and uncles including Celeste Buehne and husband Terry, Arlington, Texas, Juan and Elisha Reyes, Boulder, Colorado and Jacquelin Reyes of Dodge City

Vigil service will be 7:00 pm Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Cathedral
of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dodge City. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am
Saturday at the Cathedral with Fr. Wesley Schawe presiding. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City. Visitation will be Friday from noon to 5:00 pm at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City.

The family suggests memorials to National Suicide Prevention, Ford County Humane Society or Dodge City High School Athletic Department to benefit the Girls Soccer Program all in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
