DODGE CITY – Mark Kienow, 57, died, Friday, April 18, 2025 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.

He was born July 17, 1967 at Dodge City, Kansas, the son of Delbert and Mary "Louise" (Loughrige) Kienow. He attended Dodge City High School, and was a lifetime resident of Dodge City. At the age of 16 he began working as a Mail Contractor for the United States Postal Service which he did for 41 years.

He was a member of the Prairie Bowman Archery Club. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, hunting, cooking and animals.

Survivors include: his mother, Mary "Louise" Kienow, Dodge City; a sister, Michele Schriner and husband Roy, Grant, Colorado; 2 nephews, Mike and Mark Schriner; and a niece, Sierra Schriner.

He was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Kienow, and his grandparents.

Services will be held at a later date.  There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorials to the Ford County Humane Society or Phoenix Hospice, Wichita, both in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
