CIMARRON – Mary Louise Albin, 93, died Sunday, October 27, 2024 at the Shepherd's Center in Cimarron.

She was born October 27, 1931 at Osborne, Kansas, the daughter of Earl and Irene Doris (Olson) Brees.  She spent most of her life in Kansas and was a 1970 graduate of the nursing program at Cloud County Community College in Concordia.  In June of 1949 she married Buford F. DeBolt at Downs, Kansas in the parsonage of the Christian Church.  He preceded her in death on May 30, 1976.  On June 11, 1972 she married Lester Albin at the Methodist Church in Downs.  He preceded her in death on January 6, 1980.

She was the Nursing Supervisor at the Gove County Long Term Care Facility for 15 years until retiring in July 1998.  She lived a short time in Massachusetts and in October 2014 moved to Cimarron.  She was a member of the Cimarron Methodist Church and was active in Food and Fellowship as well as a volunteer for girl scouts and hospice.

Survivors include: her son, Buford E. DeBolt, Downs; 6 daughters, Marsha Mills, Aurora, Nebraska, Doris Annette Benoit, Cimarron, Mary Jenkins and husband Gordon, Cimarron, Joyce DeBolt, Lawrence, Cynthia DeBolt, Cimarron and Penny Griffin, Beverly: 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son, Earl LaVern DeBolt, 2 brothers, Leroy and Gene Brees and a granddaughter, Robin Mills.

Private family services will be held at a later date.  There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place.
