DODGE CITY- Myra Lee (Goans) Keith, age 65, died Friday, January 6, 2023, at her home in Garden City.

She was born March 28, 1957 in Monticello, Utah, the daughter of Frank and Lucille Myrtle (Lee) Goans.  She was a long time Dodge City resident and moved to Garden City 3 years ago.  She was a graduate of Dodge City High School.

Myra was a floor manager at Dillions for many years.  She was the manager of the Dillions Video and Dillions Flower departments for many years.  She enjoyed to travel, was a warrior, loved her dog, Bella and her favorite person was her grandson, Samuel "Junior" Murphy.

On February 14, 1979, she married Richard Keith at Dodge City.  He preceded her in death on June 9, 2005.

Survivors include: a daughter, April Keith and companion Corey Linville, Garden City; a son, Steven Keith, Wichita; a sister, Alma Donley and husband Rick, Parsons, Kansas; 2 grandchildren, Samuel "Junior" Murphy and Grant Kempen.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Betty Jean Goans, Janie Innis and Connie Hipp; a brother, Darrell Goans and 2 nieces.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City, with David Johnson officiating.  Inurnment will follow in Greencrest Memorial Gardens, Dodge City.  There will be no public visitation as cremation has taken place.
