DODGE CITY - Naomi "Gussie" D. Bredfeldt, 87, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Presbyterian Manor of the Plains, Dodge City.

She was born March 2, 1931 at Uhrichsville, Ohio, the daughter of Harry and Celia (Hiller) Holmes.  She graduated from Uhrichville High School in 1949 and Aultman School of Nursing in Canton, Ohio in 1952.  On November 21, 1952 she married Don Bredfeldt at Uhrichsville, Ohio.  She moved to Dodge City in 1962 and continued her nursing career. She was a Registered Nurse for over 45 years and worked for the Ford County Health Department until retiring in 1996.

She was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Dodge City.  She loved her family and her church and enjoyed going south for the winter with Don.

Survivors include: her son, Randy and wife Becky, Dodge City; 2 grandchildren, Nicky Tiffany and husband Shawn and Gage Bredfeldt and wife, Jillian; and 5 great grandchildren, Ransom, Taylor, Ainsley, Whitney and Stockton Tiffany.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Don on October 23, 2017 and 4 sisters.

Private family services will be held at a later date.  There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place.

The family suggests memorials to Christ the King Lutheran Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital both in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
