WICHITA – Paula Meadows Howell, 61 died, Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at her home in Wichita, Kansas.

She was born on April 20, 1960 in Dodge City, Kansas the daughter of Paul Harold and Carole June (Adams) Meadows. She was a graduate of Cimarron High School, received her Associates Degree from Dodge City Community College and attended Wichita State University.  She had been a Wichita resident for over 20 years and worked as a tax preparer for 25 years, retiring in 2017. She was a member of the Disciples of Christ, Wichita, and the VFW Auxiliary.

On November 13, 2004 she married Kurt Howell in Wichita, Kansas. He preceded her in death on January 10, 2018.

Survivors include: her son, Dalton Howell, Wichita, Kansas; her daughter, Lacey Howell, Derby, Kansas; 2 brothers, Gary Meadows and wife Pam, Offerle, Kansas and Greg Meadows, Wichita; 2 sisters, Cindy Byer and husband Ron, Cimarron and Janet Meadows and companion, Elmer Malone, Cimarron; 7 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Randall Meadows.

Graveside service will be Friday, August 6, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Cimarron Cemetery, Cimarron, with David Johnson officiating. There will be no public viewing, the casket will remain closed.
