DODGE CITY - Ramona Ann Waller, 78, died Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Via Christi Village Ridge in Wichita.

She was born June 25, 1939 at Wetumka, Oklahoma the daughter of Ecca E. and Lula M. (Johnson) Roberts.  Ramona was a Dodge City residence until she moved to LaJunta Colorado in the summer of 1991.  Then her and her husband (Vinton Waller) moved back to Kansas in November of 2016 and settled in Sedgwick Kansas.  She worked as a bookkeeper/clerk for Montgomery Wards, Klines and Long's in Dodge City.

She enjoyed bowling, traveling, sewing, cooking and attending her grandchildren's sporting events.

In December of 1956 she married Ronald L. Penick in Wetumka, Oklahoma. On August 25, 1984 she married Vinton Waller at Dodge City.  He survives.

Other survivors include: her daughter, Ronnetta Henrichs and husband Kelly, Dodge City; 5 step-children, Mike Waller, Wichita, Rae Green and husband Reggie, Nickerson, Kansas, Monte Waller and wife Linda, Clarksville, Tennessee, Jeff Waller and wife Wendy, Dodge City and Jeri Burghart and husband Alan, McPherson, Kansas; 5 grandchildren, Holly Deutsch and husband Ryan, Tayor Penick and wife April, Kevin Henrichs, Kyndell Penick and wife Shawna, Colbie Penick and wife Lex, 12 step-grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 11 step-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Scott Penick.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Friday, June 22, 2018 at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City, with Dusty Cookson officiating.  Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City.  Visitation will be 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Thursday at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City.
