DODGE CITY - Randy R. Hessman died Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at The University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas.

He was born on April 10, 1958 in Dodge City, Kansas the son of Dean and Patricia (Culver) Hessman. Randy was a life time area resident graduating from Sublette high school in 1976. He worked in the agriculture field. He enjoyed going fishing and to the casino, he loved his dogs and most importantly loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include: his significant other, Judy Denton, Dodge City; 3 daughters, Lacey and Ashley Hessman both of Lindsay, California and Sadie Hessman, Porterville, California; his mother, Patricia Million and husband Duane, Dodge City; 2 brothers, Rick Hessman and wife Pam, Farmington, New Mexico and Skyler Hessman and wife Kellie, Spring Hill, Kansas; a step-son; Shawn Searcy, Porterville, California; 14 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dean Hessman.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City with ­­­Pastor Corky Spitler officiating. Friends and family may sign the register on Friday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. There will be no public visitation, cremation has taken place. Private family burial will be held at a later date.
