DODGE CITY, KANSAS - Roger Quenton Miller, 79, died April 10, 2024, at his home in Dodge City.

He was born October 6, 1944 in Burdett, Kansas the son of Paul and Ola (Garrison) Miller. He was a graduate of Burdett High School and received his teaching degree from St. Mary's of the Plains in Dodge City.

Roger had many names; Brother, Husband, Dad, Mr. Miller, Rog, friend. But, the name he was most proud of was Grandpa or G-Pa as he used to refer to himself. Roger's grandchildren were the stars of his life. From reading books, teaching them how to "hunt for dirty rats," making a trailer that would attach to the back of the riding mower to drive the kids around the yard, to making silly songs, and creating dance moves to Old Time Rock & Roll. Roger did anything he could to spend time with his grandkids.

Roger was preceded in death by his wife, Marsha L. Miller, parents, Paul and Ola Miller, and brother and sister-in-law, Lee and Julie Miller, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Estal and Catherine Lockman.
