DODGE CITY - Shantel Rose Brungardt Winkler, 27, died Sunday, March 4, 2018 in Dodge City.

She was born July 19, 1990 at Dodge City, the daughter of Anthony and Cynthia (Ernzen) Brungardt.  She was a graduate of Jefferson County North High School in Winchester, Kansas and received her CNA at Brown Mackey College.  She returned back to Dodge City in January of 2018 from McLouth, Kansas and was a Sales Consultant for G&G Kia in Dodge City.

She enjoyed working on trucks, horses and barrel racing.  She especially loved her children and spending time with them.

She married Daniel Winkler.

Survivors include: her 3 children, Weston Brungardt, Kellie Brungardt and Texlyn Davey all of the home; her father and step-mother, Anthony and Carrie Brungardt, Dodge City; her mother, Cynthia Ernzen, St. Joseph, Missouri; a brother, Andrew Brungardt, Dodge City; 2 sisters, Megan Brungardt, St. Joseph and Megan Ann Follett, Overland Park, Kansas; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Vigil service will be 7:00 pm Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dodge City.  Funeral Mass will be 11:30 am Friday at the Basilica of St. Fidelis in Victoria, Kansas with the Most Reverend John B. Brungardt presiding.  Burial will follow in St. Fidelis Cemetery, Victoria.  There will be no public visitation.
