DODGE CITY – Siah Thomas Edwards, 82, died Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at his home surrounded by family.

He was born December 18, 1940 in Sacramento, California the son of Remus Ruby and Cora Ellen (Persinger) Edwards.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, tending to his horses, farming, watching Western TV Shows, loved being in God's word but, most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

On June 15, 1962 he married Helen Louise (Rantz) Edwards at Kirbyville, Missouri. She preceded him in death on March 5, 2014. He was the Pastor of the Living Waters Pentecostal Holiness Church, Dodge City.

Survivors include: 2 sons, Tom Edwards and wife Sue, Cassville, Missouri, Scott Edwards and wife Alicia, Dodge City, Kansas; 3 daughters, Shirley Forrester and husband Wayne, Dodge City, Kansas, Terri Bolin and husband Greg, Branson, Missouri, Kerri Johnson and husband Charlie, Republic, Missouri; 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, 5 sisters and one infant brother.

Funeral service will be ­­Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City, with Roland Scott Edwards presiding. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 to 5:00 pm at Ziegler Funeral Chapel. Cremation will take place after the service. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Missouri.
