DODGE CITY – Stanley W. Ralya, 71, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on Thursday, March 17, 2022 in Dodge City.

He was born March 5, 1951 at Grand Island, Nebraska, the son of Clayton Wayne and Leora Louise (Beane) Ralya.  He moved from Los Angeles, California to Dodge City in 1996 and on October 20, 2001 he married Donna Noutip at Las Vegas, Nevada.  Together, they owned and operated the Thunderbird Motel in Dodge City.  He enjoyed cooking, baking, carpentry, and performing magic tricks for the grandkids. He was a good, caring and loving family man and will be missed by many.

Survivors include: his wife, Donna, Dodge City; 4 children, Amanda Nguyen and husband Scott, Washington, D.C., Souphaly Spurlock, Kingwood, Texas, Johnny Sinhpraseut, Grand Prairie, Texas and Jamie Vongdonedeng, Wichita; a brother, Michael Ralya and wife Sandy, Afton, Iowa; a sister, Cathy Ralya, Dacula, Georgia; and 4 grandchildren, Anthony, Elizabeth, Brandon Nguyen and Naomi Sinhpraseut.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Debbie Ralya.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at 5:00 pm Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the family home located at 1307 N. 2 ^nd Ave. in Dodge City.  There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place.
