Obituary

DODGE CITY - Ursula Row was born Ursula Schafer on December 10,1939 in Heidelberg, Germany.  She died February 5, 2021 in Dodge City.  She and her sister, Gisela were adopted by their loving parents, Edward and Helga Mueller.

In her adventurous life, she had three daughters, Connie Adams, the late (and amazing) Sara Sandvos, and Lori Flores.  She was an animal and flower lover.  This came from the rose garden she always spoke of in her younger years. Always the jokester, she never met anyone she wouldn't talk to.  This led her in to the food service industry, whether working in the kitchen at a café, or volunteering at the senior center in Montezuma.

We were blessed to have her shortly on earth. The family and I can envision her singing and laughing in a beautiful flower garden surrounded by butterflies with Sara, her brother-in-law, Walter, and our grandparents in heaven.

She is survived by daughters, Connie Adams of Missouri. Lori Flores, and husband Richard of Cimarron.  Grandchildren are Austin and Stevie Flores, Cimarron, Nicholas Powell of Montezuma, Miles Flores of Cimarron, Victoria Powell of Montezuma, and Storm Flores of Cimarron.  Great-Grandchildren are Xaiden Flores and Hayden Flores of Cimarron.  Also, surviving are Connie's children and grandchildren.  Son in law, Jason Sandvos of Missouri.  Others extremely special to her was Jackie Brown, husband Tim, Glen Powell, wife Caprice, and Gala Torres, husband Manuel.

Mom taught us patience with her dementia, and you have to have a sense of humor no matter what the situation.  We know she's home and happy, just as God planned.

Private family services are planned.  There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place.
